Give yourself some constraints.

Constraint is directly responsible for all creativity.

This image was created because someone wanted to show one or more elements or concepts in this image uniquely.

For example, ropeway in a cozy way.

Or creating warmth with a rug in a cold environment.

Or showing the duality of something usually indoors placed outdoors.

Basically, there has to be some constraint.

What a prompt is to AI, constraint is to your creativity.

Prompt = thousands of outputs.

No prompt = no output.

No constraints = no sustained creativity.

Creativity might just be a mental model. Because we have to manually introduce constraints in imagination or thinking.

Constraint can just mean a non-negotiable that cannot be left out of the thinking or imagination process.

And maybe this consideration is what causes mutations of ideas into something that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.
