Competitors don’t matter

Oh no, so many competitors exist. Why would anyone buy mine?

My brother, you are creating a software and you are having a hard time finding your own competitors even though they exist and make good money.

If you are laser focused on finding your competitors. And still are having a bad time. Imagine your potential customers.

Just because competitors exist doesn’t mean they’re accessible or visible for your customers or as a matter of fact, for everyone.

Be in front of those who need your service and you will be bought.

Competitors don’t matter because not all competitors are going to be in front of your customers eyes.

You have to be in front of people eyes to be bought.

The demand and need is so vast that no single player can have the infrastructure to be in front of everyone’s eyes.

There are eyes to capture for everyone.

Because that is a fundamental constraint.

No one can hog all eyes at once due to the sheer volume of them in the B2B space.

When you are small you will think, oh no, why would anyone think about me when something else exists, Everyone else thinks about them!

But when you are big you will understand how hard it is to make everyone think about you, even if you are the biggest player.

It is you and your own belief who could only see them. Your customers are something different. They do not have your own eyes. Don’t superimpose what you see onto what your customers see.

What you have in your eyesight as a founder Is different from what a customer will have in theirs.
