In the game of table tennis, I observed that when I’m playing the game of attrition, like trying to send as many replies as possible and then making them fuck up because they are not able to keep up with these many replies is the best strategy for me.
When I try to do something like tricking them with a spin ball or a smash, many times my own errors in trying to do those tricks leads to me giving up points.
And I have now come to the conclusion that the more amount of tricks I try to do, the less chances of my winning.
But the more I try to play the game of attrition, the stronger my score becomes.
So I think this is also just how it should be. In most competitions, the person you are playing with, they have a stamina. Like even in business, the party you are competing against has a runway.
And if you just play the game of attrition, you will do well. But if you try to do a trick shot all the time, you are going to fuck up one way or another.
It’s like doing low variance plays over risky high variance ones is a good strategy because most people will burn out before they can out work you in the low variance game
They just aint built like you when it comes to low variance or when it comes to just keep going and going and going
They cannot do the volume like you
