This is an Indian clothing brand that has done content well and it also has a founder who is built sizeable audience. After analyzing the scripts, I can attest that the structure is almost similar to mine. It’s either “hook first, then introduction” or “introduction, then hook.” Helps you go for both the endogenous and exogenous demand.
Well, basically just confirming the fact that I am not doing anything wrong, but time is a variable right now. The pieces will fall into their place sooner or later. I just need to keep showing up.
Content performance isn’t purely meritocratic. There’s genuine randomness in the system and having an overwhelming presence is the way to brute force your way into extraordinary results.
And that also means that you would have better time creation variations of the same thing instead of trying to post a novel thing.
Because if you’re posting a novel thing all the time, let’s say you have 10 different scripts. You have burnt out yourself, because luck might not favor you in 9 out of 10 cases, and only one video will go well.
But if you go for variations, let’s say you have 10 scripts and you create 4-5 variations of each. So now instead of just one, you will have 4-5 videos that will go viral.
Basically, a script is discussing one concept or story. Instead of having one story/concept = one script, have 4-5 scripts representing that single one. This allows you to cover multiple angles, maybe you can target a wider audience if you see those 5 videos as a collective. You’ll exhaust yourself less, plus if you are worried that your followers might see that video and think “ok, this fucker is posting repetitive shit”, actually that’s not the case. Your followers don’t see all your posts, posting multiple variations of the same thing might increase the chance of them actually even seeing at all. Your existing audience barely sees your content anyway. You are not being repetitive, you are actually just being visible by posting variations.
Even with followers:
- Organic reach on most platforms: 5-20% of your followers see any given post
- So if you have 10K followers, only 500-2,000 see each video
- Post 5 variations? You’ve now reached 2,500-10,000 (with some overlap, but not much)
For non-followers :
- They see ONE video in isolation
- They have zero context that you posted 4 other variations unless they visit profile
- Each variation is a fresh lottery ticket to a completely different subset of the algorithm’s audience
