The market for survivor narratives is infinite.

Which is why every religion, every empire, every billionaire, every successful movement comes packaged with an origin myth and why it was bound to work.

Survivor attracts narrative and narrative obscures randomness.

Randomness produces the next survivor who in turn attracts the next narrative.

Essentially anything you see that is really big and attractive and seductive was conditional. It may have had a lot of effort and thinking as a mandatory condition but it also needed 4-5 coin flips to go in their favor.
