The Treachery of Evening

Ever since I was a kid, I have been very sensitive to light. I remember CFLs or tube lights depressed the life out of me even as a kid. And then when I was an adolescent, I had to go to tuitions and coaching centres that were full of that blue-ish white light and I always used to wonder what is wrong with me but we are a product of our environment up to a certain point as well. You can be stoic all you want but hard not to get affected by those things as a teenager. And I think same effect is taking place when we transition into the evening. Things start to get blue but before that they go from yellow to a really depressing grey especially in monsoon. So when we are transitioning from day to night I feel horrid when I look outside the window the emptiness of it all. all is just haunting. And today I just drawed my curtain and didn’t look at it. And it felt better. And night feels gorgeous. The city lights especially. amazing see day is fine because I get to see the world around me night is fine because I get to see what humans have done around me but the evening is the most treacherous thing God has ever given to this world

I hope I find in people who hate evenings as much as I do and we just hang out together and avoid evenings like vampires avoid night. I hope I find in people who hate evenings as much as I do and we just hang out together and avoid evenings like vampires avoid night.
