If you think its interesting then most probably most other people dont find it such. go make a search and find most popular related thing and default to it.

I segments reels into few types and and scrolled for hour. Here are how many popped up by highest to lowest:

  • Yap (shorter ones or longer by famous people)
  • Slow down videos (vibes)
  • Image stack videos (vibes)
  • Conveyer Belt (almost brainrotish and keep repeating same trick but can work even for beauty or ootd by showing one fit after another)
  • Funny (skits or jokes)
  • Process ( behind scenes or how tos)
  • Thirst traps

There were combinations too. poor Image stack + yap combos didn’t work much. Slow down plus short simple yap work. Slow down/ Image stack plus quotes work too.

The vibe i am getting here is that if you open you mouth it better be simple, slow and a world we already share. Long, complex or not well traversed topics dont do well.

Also, yap IS,SD and CB make up 80% of all

Basically take the most popular topic, take its most discussed angle, find most known objects in world that can pair with it and then talk about it in the simplest, quickest way

Everybody, even a nobody, can sell vibe and short yap on insta. But to sell a long yap you gotta be a winner or smoothest talker with amazing visuals.

Basically before long yap, think if you have one of more of these 3.

  • Cred
  • Spectacular Visuals
  • Goated insights

Another case against making stuff on trending things instead of ever green is that they will die on day one so much that production is just not worth it! 87.7% of X trend runs lasted just one day, and 53.5% of YouTube video runs in a given country’s chart did too. So no need to go and hunt for trending things. if you hear about something over 2-4 days, then maybe gamble on making content. Other than that just focus on the research we have.

Basically, the checklist is that you only go for popular concept or entry points. The only outsider in your video world is your object. Everything from words to script should be extrinsic.

Plain English script but graphics do the complex shit like we did during the Vectors and matrices era.

with social media its better to go scorched fire and target everyone and then use ads to “niche down”

Rule of thumb:

  • Pick a popular or entry point concept
  • Simple Script
  • Rich and intuitive visuals
  • Min. external objects
  • max. intrensic objects (relative to mass psychee)
  • Maximise world interest via object selection and relationship build up in objects
