You have to understand that if you are selling info or creating value content, then no one gives a single shit about the information or value.

Elite universities like Harvard, Stanford, Yale, etc., are running open courses online.
If anyone actually gave a fuck about information, they would go there and learn it.
So you have to understand that they are not here for the information.
They are here for you, your stories and the emotions you make them feel.
No one gives a shit about information.
If they actually did, they would have gone to those materials.
There are enough videos, text, audio, whatever type of learning medium they want, enough of it exists.
If you’re creating value content, you have to understand people are going to watch you for you and not the value.
Before you try to open your mouth and run it to give some value or create some info content, people need to trust you.
So you need to introduce yourself first.
You need to talk yo shit and then give value.
If you directly give value, you are putting the cart before the horse.
That’s wrong.
What you’re supposed to do is use a hook then introduce yourself to give them a reason why they should listen to you, and then give the value and then a CTA at end
This way, even if the value you gave was not good enough but the introduction was good, they might think, “This guy might tell me something useful later on. Let me follow him.”
An example of this can be: “Is it possible to build a brand in just 30 days? Hey, I am a student at [IIM or similar], and I am currently building [your company]”
Then you provide value
Like, imagine you walk into a bar and someone is threatening you.
You might not care much if its some random guy, but if you see that guy is fucking 6’11” 300 lbs, tattoos all over him, you would know that you need to pay attention to the threats and get the fuck out of here.
Same way, You have to give them reasons to pay heed to your words by showing yourself.
Doesnt necessarily need to be value content only, A journey or 30 challenge also becomes worth watching if the person is solid
